Strip is a handmade, stroboscopic film, the rhythm of which is, based on the Golden String. The film was made with clear film leader. Optically transparent, but photographically opaque lithographic stripping tape was applied to occlude the frames with 1's, while the clear frames represent 0's. I found myself attracted to the absurdity of using machine code to create an antiquarian, camera-less, "hand processed" film. The film loop was installed in a manor reminiscent of a mobius strip or infinity symbol.
